Zoning & Permitting, Environmental Subdivisions, Shoreline Management Act, Compliance & Enforcement Actions

We have deep expertise with the Shoreline Management Act, Including Critical Area regulations, steep slope issues, wetlands, and the Forest Practices Act. Homeowners’ Association (HOA) Covenants, Bylaws & Disputes

The firm has expertise in assisting homeowners’ associations with drafting covenants (CC&Rs), and bylaws, as well as representing the HOA or its members in a lawsuit. We also assist HOA members with interpreting covenants and bylaws.

Our firm can also assist the HOA members faced with an enforcement action based on noncompliance with covenants.

Mediation Services

Our firm offers mediation as a cost-effective way to settle property disputes involving boundaries, easements, nuisances, trespass, or adverse possession. Mediation helps avoid lengthy lawsuits and preserves relationships between neighbors.

It provides an economical means of resolving a dispute within a single day—while allowing parties to stay in control of the outcome instead of relying on a court decision. Our attorneys, Jane Koler & Richard Sanders, are available to serve as mediators.
